Check valves for high-tech applications
High tech (HT) check valves are resistant against hot water and certain chemical compositions, e.g. anti-freeze and chlorine compounds. Suitable for heating systems and various other applications where hot water or chemicals are involved.

Quality features

  • HT check valve models are made of high performance plastics approved for use with potable water. The black polymer is furthermore characterized by its good resistance to, for example, anti-freeze and chlorine compounds.
  • In continuous operation, these check valves are suitable for up to 127 °C (260 °F) or 130°C (266 °F) depending on the material.
  • The valves are certified according to DIN EN 13959 and ASME A112.18.3

Versions

OF models

OF models

The OF model has no snap-fit tabs, a captive seal and can be installed in both flow directions.

OV models

The OV model with snap-fit tabs and captive seal is installed against the flow direction.
NV models

NV models

The NV model with snap-fit tabs and non-captive seal is installed against the flow direction.

Selection criteria

Please note that HT check valves are only available for our OEM/industrial customers. For more details, as well as information on worldwide approvals, please see the product listing. To refine your selection, please use the following points as filters.
  • Bore diameter: Select the bore diameter for the matching check valve size. Models in sizes 10 to 50 mm are available.
  • Flow rate: Recommended flow range within which the check valve should be operated. HT check valves are designed for flow rates from 1 l/min (0.25 gpm) to over 500 l/min (140 gpm).
  • Design: open cartridge
  • Max. application temperature: 127 °C (260 °F) and 130°C (266 °F) respectively in continuous operation.
  • Sealing material: EPDM
  • Spring force: Choose between standard and strong spring models. Strong spring variants are designed to meet AS/NZS 2845 requirements, ensuring a recommended closing pressure of 7 kPa in accordance with Australian plumbing standards.
