Insert check valves are suitable for a variety of applications to protect against the backflow of used water. They are easy to install and their use is mandatory as stipulated in numerous standards and regulations.
Application areas
They are suitable for use in sanitary and technical potable water applications, such as:
Pull-out kitchen spray heads
Shower handles
Pumps (and pump systems)
Filters
Solenoid valves
Water treatment systems
Booster pumps
Product lines
OD valves
These check valves can be installed in and against the flow direction. Thanks to the integrated snap-fit tabs, no additional retainer is required in the application.
OF valves
The OF models can be installed in and against the flow direction. As they do not have snap-fit tabs, an additional retainer is required for installation.
NV & OV valves
Installed against flow direction. No additional retention required due to integrated snap-fit tabs. For the NV valves, the o-rings are supplied and fitted separately to avoid damage in certain bore designs.
CV & DW valves
These cylindrical check valves can be mounted in and against the flow direction.
CV-FR & FR-CV valves
These models have an integrated flow regulator and therefore control the flow rate almost independently of the line pressure.
Valves with strong spring
These check valves contain strong springs that meet the 7 kPa closing pressure recommended by Australian plumbing standards according to AS/NZS 2845.
Find the right product
Please note that the following information refers to the product range for our OEM/manufacturer customers. For more details, as well as information on worldwide approvals, please see the product listing. To refine your selection, please use the following points as filters.
Bore diameter: Select the bore diameter to determine the matching check valve size. Check valves are available in sizes ranging from 7 to 50 mm.
Flow rate: Recommended flow range within which the check valve should be operated. Our check valves are designed for flow rates from 1 l/min (0.25 gpm) to over 500 l/min (140 gpm). Refer to the › recommended flow range overview for your selection.
Flow regulation: models with an integrated flow regulator (FR-CV / CV-FR) ensure a virtually constant flow rate, even under fluctuating pressure conditions. Use the filter below to select the desired flow rate.
Design: There are open and closed cartridges. Open models are available with or without snap-fit tabs. Some models are also available in a short design.
Spring force: Certain models are available with a strong spring that meet the 7 kPa closing pressure recommended by Australian plumbing standards according to AS/NZS 2845.
