Stream patterns

Aerated stream

The aerator adds air to the water flowing through the faucet. This creates a soft, aerated stream that feels pleasant and plentiful.

Laminar stream

Thanks to its turbulence-free flow, the laminar stream appears crystal-clear and natural. Since no air is mixed into the water, this stream pattern is also suitable for use in hygiene-sensitive areas, depending on the specific technical and hygiene requirements.

Spray stream

The spray stream enables effective hand cleaning even at low flow rates. It supports efficient water use, especially in areas with frequent use.

Multi-stream

A multi-stream combines two different flow rates in one aerator. The integrated switching function makes it easy to change between the two spray types.

Helpful features

SLC: limescale protection

Thanks to the soft elastomer surface, you can easily remove limescale deposits on the underside of the aerator. Simply rub them off with your finger.

SSR: adjust the water stream angle

For aerators with SSR function, the angle of the water stream can be adjusted. This saves you having to replace the faucet if the water stream hits the basin at an angle that is less than optimal.

AC: automatic cleaning function

Aerators with a self-cleaning function automatically flush out solids up to 0.7 mm in size. Especially in regions with high sand content, this feature can help reduce disruptions to the stream pattern caused by such solids and maintain stream quality for longer.

Applicable Standards and Certifications

NSF/ANSI/CAN-61 & NSF/ANSI/CAN-372

NEOPERL faucet aerators have been tested and listed to NSF/ANSI/CAN-61 and NSF/ANSI/CAN-372 with NSF International. The standard was developed to evaluate the potential adverse health effects from products in contact with drinking water. NEOPERL aerators are completely lead-free (Annex G listed).

EPA - WaterSense

This US EPA program encourages the development of safe and water-efficient plumbing products including lavatory (bathroom) faucets and faucet aerators. The flow rate of 1.5 gpm max (0.8 gpm min) saves 30 % water and energy.

Toxicity (NSF/ANSI/CAN-61),
Plating adhesion and corrosion resistance (ASTM B456),
Maximum temperature and pressure: (160°F/125 psi),
Maximum flow rate requirements per application:

Lavatory Faucet: 2.2 gpm max (8.3 l/min)

Public Lavatory Faucet: 0.5 gpm max (1.9 l/min)

Metering Faucet: 0.25 gpc
