World rowing champions focus on saving water: Roman Röösli and Andrin Gulich
Rowing and saving water – two seemingly different topics, but with a common goal: protecting our most valuable resource. We are working with Swiss world rowing champions Roman Röösli and Andrin Gulich to raise awareness of the importance of using drinking water sustainably.

Roman Röösli and Andrin Gulich are not only rowing world champions but as of this season they are also › watersaving.com ambassadors for the responsible use of drinking water as a vital resource since this season. As passionate rowers, they know nature and water in particular better than almost anyone else. Their goal is to win the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris - and to set an example for environmental protection and water conservation along the way.
For Neoperl and its very own water-saving initiative › watersaving.com, entering into a partnership with the two Swiss athletes was therefore an obvious choice. After all, Neoperl is also committed to a more sustainable use of drinking water with innovative solutions. Among other things, the internationally active group of companies develops aerators and flow regulators that help to save water and energy.
Rowing is a sport that requires not only strength and endurance, but also team spirit and dedication. The two rowers are part of a scene in which passion and commitment are the hallmarks. It is precisely these values that Neoperl also wants to convey in terms of environmental protection and drinking water conservation.
By partnering with Neoperl and watersaving.com, Roman Röösli and Andrin Gulich want to show that top-class sport and environmental protection can go hand in hand. They want to use their commitment to draw attention to the importance of the sustainable use of drinking water and natural resources. To do this, they are relying on the › watersaving.com Knowledge Hub, which provides energy-efficient tips and compact knowledge about saving water and protecting the environment.
The two athletes already have numerous successes to their name, including the European Championship title, victory in the overall World Cup and the World Championship title in September 2023. The World Cup winners have also already qualified themselves for the 2024 Olympic Games. Their next big goal is World Cup 1 in Varese, Italy, from 12 to 14 April 2024, where they want to prove their performance once again.
