Core areas of our commitment
Our efforts are based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and focus on transparency, innovative products, reducing emissions, conserving resources and social responsibility.
Our five core areas of action are:

Saving water – our trademark
Neoperl is a pioneer in the development of water-saving technologies and is making a lasting impact on the plumbing industry. › Our faucet aerators and flow regulators ensure efficient water consumption worldwide, save energy and contribute to CO2 reduction without sacrificing comfort.
A study by the Technical University of Berlin impressively shows that our flow regulators save more than 166 m³ of drinking water (equivalent to the average annual consumption of a household) over a life cycle of ten years – this protects resources and the environment. › Click here for the life cycle assessment study.
Using resources intelligently – for tomorrow
We place the highest value on ecological and social responsibility. Less is more: our products are durable, efficient and designed to conserve resources. From the optimized use of raw materials to alternative materials and recyclable packaging – we care about sustainability down to the last detail.

- › ZERO housings – the brass alternative. The innovative ZERO housing for aerators, made of plastic, replaces conventional ones made of chrome-plated brass.
- › Nomination for the German Sustainability Award, a recognition that honors prominent environmental initiatives and comprehensive sustainability approaches.
- We are delighted to have been › recognized by Ecovadis, which awarded our German site silver for the second time in 2024.
Sustainability in production and the supply chain
For us, responsibility does not end at the factory gate. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure environmental and social standards along the entire supply chain. In doing so, we rely on advanced risk management tools that inform us in real time about risks in key areas such as supply chain processes, human rights and environmental aspects. This proactive approach enables us to identify and address potential problems at an early stage.
By 2026, proven management systems in accordance with ISO standards 14001 (environmental management), 45001 (occupational health and safety) and 9001 (quality management) will be in place at all locations. At the German site, 50001 (energy management) has also proven its worth.
These systems help us to systematically pursue our sustainability goals and implement them at all our global locations.

By joining the Müllheim (Germany) site in the › “Zielgerade 2030” initiative, Neoperl is aiming for a maximum CO2 reduction in the areas of Scope 1 (direct emissions) and Scope 2 (indirect emissions through energy consumption) by 2030. This initiative serves to share best practices and synergies in order to reduce energy consumption and achieve the climate targets. Neoperl has implemented extensive decarbonization measures, including switching to green electricity, promoting alternative mobility concepts, expanding photovoltaic capacities and optimizing production processes in order to minimize energy consumption and thus reduce the associated emissions.
This experience is gradually being transferred to other locations.
By participating in a › “Scope 3 Action Group”, Neoperl has also gained extensive experience with regard to emissions generated along the supply chain. As a result, cooperation with suppliers can be intensified in order to promote sustainability along the entire value chain.
By introducing a comprehensive supply chain risk management system, Neoperl identifies supply chain risks and tracks them in real time. Through this holistic approach, Neoperl actively contributes to promoting a more resilient and environmentally conscious supply chain.
This proactive approach demonstrates Neoperl's commitment to systematically reducing its environmental footprint while establishing sustainable practices throughout the industry. › In particular, it supports the following UN Sustainable Development Goals.
