Construction of the new site in South-East Asia began in August 2022 and the logistics and production facility was completed in summer 2023. The state-of-the-art facility in Thailand's AMATA City Rayong industrial estate was carefully planned and equipped in accordance with Neoperl's global standards. A special feature here too is the implementation of the automated storage and processing system "Autostore" – as already in place at other Neoperl production facilities.
Neoperl welcomed around 120 invited guests to the opening ceremony last November, mainly customers and partners from Thailand, USA, China, Indonesia, and Japan, who were able to find out more about NPAP and see the "inner workings" during a factory tour. Afterwards, the two owners, CEO Oliver Denzler and CTO Fabian Wildfang, provided insights into the history of the Neoperl Group and set the tone for the future. The Swiss Ambassador to Thailand, Pedro Zwahlen, and the Secretary General of the Eastern Economic Corridor Office, Dr Chula Sukmanop, also addressed the audience.
