Product range
Strainers are used where sediment or impurities in the water supply line might impair the functioning of downstream applications. Solenoid valves are thus protected against wear, or even malfunctioning, for example.
Strainers should preferably be installed in connection pieces or hose fittings for ease of cleaning and replacement. The curvature of the strainer always points in the direction from which the water is flowing.
Connector thread sizes and also strainer sizes are typically given in inches.
In addition to their protective role, strainers also perform a sealing function in many cases.
