Water-saving flow regulators for hand or overhead shower

The PCW-01 and PCW-04 flow regulator, a ½" washer with integrated flow regulator, is inserted on the hand or overhead shower and replaces the existing washer.

The PCW-02 flow regulator, a ½" washer with integral flow regulator and flexible silicone turbine, is inserted into the handle of shower handles or into bib taps (e.g. garden faucets) and replaces the usual washer there. The flexible turbine facilitates use in different bore diameters and ensures secure positioning in any 1/2" connection with a male thread.

Retrofit solution for shower faucets

Shower Flow Controllers with integral flow regulator are simply screwed between the faucet and shower hose as a visible adapter. They fit all current shower faucets with their ½" thread.

Installation and function

PCW-01/PCW-04 for shower handles

The existing washer is removed and replaced with the PCW-01 or PCW-04. Insert the flow regulator into the shower hose with the O-ring or screen facing downwards and screw it to the faucet.

PCW-01/PCW-04 for overhead showers

The existing washer is removed and replaced with the PCW-01 or PCW-04. Insert the flow regulator into the overhead shower with the O-ring or screen facing upwards and screw it to the faucet.

PCW-02 for shower handles

The existing washer is removed and replaced with the PCW-02. Insert the PCW-02 flow regulator into the hand shower with the turbine side facing against the flow and screw it to the hose thread.

PCW-02 for wall spouts

The existing washer is removed and replaced with the PCW-02 flow regulator. Insert the PCW-02 into the wall screw connection with the turbine side facing against the flow and screw it to the thread in the wall.

PCR for shower faucets

Simply screw the PCR shower connection as an adapter between the faucet and shower hose. Do not remove the existing washer in the shower hose, but screw it to the new connection instead.

Selection options

Flow rate: PCW-01 and PCW-02 flow regulators are available in different color-coded flow rates. We usually recommend a flow rate of 1.8 to 2.5 gallons per minute in showers, depending on the State and local conditions.
Mounting bore: All PCW models are designed for G½" screw connections. The PCW-02 turbine enables secure installation in the shower handle or faucet. The PCW-02 for standard pressure ranges fits in holes of 0.4" to 0.6" in diameter and for low pressure ranges in holes of 0.5" to 0.6" in diameter.
Application areas: The main function of all of the products mentioned is to conserve water. You can choose which form of installation you prefer – to the shower handle or hose.
Pressure range: Designed for operating pressures of 20-100 psi.
Application temperature: Up to a maximum of 149° F.
