Connector with integrated check valve for backflow prevention in electric household appliances to meet EN 61770.
In accordance with EN 61770, household appliances must incorporate measures that prevent the backflow and back siphonage of non-potable water into the water mains. Existing supply hoses, although being directly connected to water supply lines, are usually not approved for drinking water and therefore might not comply with the norm.
Neoperl has a simple solution, featuring a check valve housed within an adapter. This adapter should be installed between the mains tap and the supply hose. No tools are required for installation.
Our check valve connectors have undergone thorough testing and validation by well-established household appliance manufacturers.

- Thread size: Connecting thread size G3/4”
- Diverse housing lengths are available (refer to product listing below)
- Material: The adapter housings are available in metal (chrome plated and plain brass), and plastic (black and natural)
- Maximum application temperature: Suitable for continuous use up to 65 °C (149 °F). Special high-tech models are available for continous use up to 95 °C (203 °F)
- Flow rate: Recommended flow rate between 12.6 l/min up to 45 l/min
- Bore diameter: We offer 15.1 mm bore diameters
- Variants for special applications (e.g. hot water) or installation conditions, as well as country-specific standards are available. Our qualified staff will be happy to assist you.
- All materials used comply with relevant hygiene standards. Check valves meet national regulations (WRAS, KIWA, DVGW etc.)
