We are very pleased that Neoperl GmbH is now part of the group of "100 pioneers in efficient resource management"!
We received this award for the smart re-design of our Softpex connection hose. We have further developed this over the years - thanks to a new hose design, we were able to replace and save materials, reduce the hose weight by almost half and thus reduce the water consumption of the materials used by 80% and the CO2 footprint by 60%.
The "100 pioneers in efficient resource management" project, launched by the state government and leading business associations in Baden-Württemberg, highlights companies with exemplary efficiency measures and strategies each year. On November 24, the award ceremony took place in Stuttgart, and our sustainability manager Jannis Klonk was able to receive the award on behalf of the company.
Our products have always been characterized by their conservation of resources in the area of drinking water. The topic of material efficiency in products will also increasingly accompany us in the future - because the legal frameworks are shifting, customer specifications must increasingly be taken into account, and we at Neoperl also want to focus even more on our responsibility towards people and the environment at all levels.
Great thanks and appreciation for the efforts of all involved in this great development, which shows that the efficient use of materials can lead to significantly reduced environmental impact and is also economically worthwhile. It seems that we are on the right track!
