This award recognizes private employers who are particularly committed to supporting volunteers in civil protection.
In his speech, Thomas Strobl, Minister of the Interior of the state of Baden-Württemberg, emphasized the importance of companies that generously support their employees in their voluntary work and thus make a significant contribution to civil protection. A total of 34 employers were honored on this evening.
Dr. Thomas Schindler, Managing Director of Neoperl GmbH, was delighted with the award: "We at Neoperl are proud that our employees are also involved in their private lives and take responsibility for society. This award confirms our commitment to giving them the freedom they need for their voluntary work, especially in civil protection."
Neoperl has distinguished itself through various measures, including the support of annual fire drills in the company and the release of employees for missions and further training in civil protection. Neoperl also regularly offers comprehensive fire safety training and information for the workforce. The "Partner of the Fire Brigade" award, which Neoperl has already received, also underlines the close cooperation between the company and the fire departments.
With the "Volunteer-friendly employer in civil protection" award, Neoperl is helping to strengthen and promote volunteering and civil protection in Baden-Württemberg. The company is sending a visible signal of the partnership between industry and the organizations responsible for civil protection.
