The HONEYCOMB Clinic is a hygiene aerator that is especially suitable for hospitals and care facilities. It is available in four different colors: this four-color coding system enables the regular and controlled replacement of the aerators on your faucets.

These are the features of the HONEYCOMB Clinic:
  • The HONEYCOMB Clinic has a flow restrictor that limits the water flow rate from the faucet to 1.5 gpm. This type of flow restriction makes a significant contribution to preventing contamination through splashing water.
  • Due to its design, the HONEYCOMB Clinic does not draw in any air. This results in a clear laminar stream and reduced spray and aerosol formation.

From a hygiene point of view, it is advisable to regularly replace faucet aerators in hospitals and medical facilities. NEOPERL hygiene faucet aerators have a simple color concept to help you remember to do this.
The hygiene faucet aerators come in four different colors: blue, red, yellow, and green.
Each color represents a replacement cycle. This means it is easy to recognize and monitor whether replacement is taking place regularly and correctly. The replacement interval must be individually defined within a healthcare facility (hospital/care home), as water quality affects the microbiological contamination of the aerator.
Only suitably hygienic and verified materials are used for the hygiene faucet aerators.

Replacement

The HONEYCOMB Clinic consists of a housing and an insert, including a washer. It is available in the two common sizes M22 and M24.

Please note that not all models of the HONEYCOMB Clinic faucet aerator are available for all customer areas.
  • Flow rate: The aerator is available with flow rate 1.5 gpm.
  • Size: Available in Regular size.
  • Stream pattern: The HONEYCOMB Clinic generates a crystal-clear laminar stream.
  • Pressure range: from 20 to 80 psi.
  • Restrictions: Not suitable for non-pressurized water heaters.
  • Colors: The HONEYCOMB Clinic comes in blue, red, yellow and green.
