Filters are used where sediment or impurities in the water supply line might impair the functioning of downstream applications. Solenoid valves are thus protected against wear, or even malfunctioning, for example.

Protection through filters

Filters should preferably be installed in connection pieces or hose fittings for ease of cleaning and replacement. The curvature of the filter always points in the direction from which the water is flowing.

Connector thread sizes and also filter sizes are typically given in inches.

In addition to their protective role, filters also perform a sealing function in many cases.

Please note that filters are not available in the full range for all customer areas.

Type: You will find the different types in the product designation.
Diameter of the installation hole: Select the appropriate diameter.
Sealing material: Choose between PVC and POM.
