Manually operated diverters are switchable components in faucets that are used to redirect the supply of water according to use, e.g., from a tub filler inlet to a hand shower. They are integrated in faucets with different designs.
For concealed faucets
These diverters are a component of concealed faucets and completely invisible. Operation: pushing a faucet knob. Model range: the classic CDV diverter line and a new cartridge solution: Easy Push Diverter.
For exposed faucets
These diverters are (partly) a visible component of the faucet. Operation: either by pulling or pushing the diverter knob. With 1/2" hose connection.
Diverter solutions
Neoperl offers (partly) exposed and completely concealed diverter models. They are a component in concealed faucets in most cases. New is the Easy Push Diverter – a robust cartridge made of plastic and therefore nickel free.
New: Easy Push Diverter
Completely concealed behind the wall or incorporated in the faucet. By pushing the faucet knob the cartridge works smoothly irrespective of the supply pressure.
Diverter CDV 18
Completely concealed behind the wall or incorporated in the faucet. Operation: manually by pulling or pushing a faucet knob which is fitted to the bolted joint.
Diverter CDV 22
Most of the diverter is concealed behind the wall. Operation: manually by pushing the diverter knob.
Potential applications
Diverters made by Neoperl offer various options for shower and bath.
Models with 1/2" hose connection
These faucet diverters have a 1/2" hose connection and are a component of exposed faucets in most cases. They come in different materials and combinations thereof to suit any requirement and demand:

Plastic diverters

Hybrid diverters
The connector and axle are made of brass, the housing of plastic.
Brass diverters
All components – except the spring made of stainless steel – are fully made of brass.
A particular feature of these diverters is that they automatically switch back to the standard position when the pressure falls below approx. 0.2 bar. Neoperl also offers diverters with a locking mechanism for low pressure conditions where this function is undesirable. This prevents the diverter switching from back when the pressure in the water pipe decreases. The diverter remains locked in the desired position and the hand shower is supplied with sufficient water even at low pressure.
Moreover, there is the option of integrating a check valve in some diverters to ensure backflow prevention requirements.
