| Is there any significance to the different colors of the protective dome screens on your aerators? | |
In addition to protecting the aerator from large particles in the water, such as sand, that can clog and obstruct the quality of the aerator stream, the dome screen also provides a color identification of the flow rate of the product as follows:Blue - Unrestricted Full Flow Gray - 3.5 gpm @ 60 psi Beige - 3.0 gpm @ 60 psi Red - 2.2 gpm @ 60 psi White - 2.0 gpm @ 60 psi Green - 1.5 gpm @ 60 psi Yellow - 2.2 gpm pressure compensating Orange - 1.5 gpm pressure compensating Our spray products have white dome screens, but the color of the diffuser plate identifies the flow rate as follows: Lime Green 0.5 gpm pressure-compensating Dark Blue 1.0 gpm pressure-compensating |
