Compatibility with drinking water
ANSI/NSF61
ANSI/NSF61 (Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects) was developed to establish minimum requirements for the control of potential adverse human health effects from products in contact with drinking water. The tests include determination of levels of lead leachate and other regulated metals, organic contaminants and solvents.
NEOPERL’s plants are monitored by UL. NEOPERL® products are listed and are continually audited and periodically re-tested.
NEOPERL’ s product listing to ANSI/NSF61 is available at www.ul.com.
Performance and endurance
ANSI/ASME A112.18.3M, CSA B125
Flow regulating check valves listed to ASME A112.18.3M (Performance Requirements for Backflow
Protection Devices and Systems in Plumbing Fixture Fittings) provide a higher degree of reliability
and offer an alternative to non-certified vacuum breaker components.
For more details please refer to NEOPERL's Check Valves brochure
Flow rate requirements
ANSI/ASME A112.18.1M, CSA B125
NEOPERL® flow regulators facilitate compliance with Standard requirements for shower products
(2.5 gpm @ 80 psi) and faucets (2.2 gpm or 0.5 gpm @ 60 psi).
